Vitória is the capital state of Espírito Santo, is located in southeast of Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of the Grande Vitória, along with the neighbor cities of, Cariacica, Fundão, Guarapari, Serra Viana and Vila Velha. The city is one of the three capital islands of Brazil, and is characterized as the region with the highest state of economic growth.
HOW TO GET IN VITÓRIA?
The nearest international airports are Rio de Janeiro in and Minas Gerais, being necessary to use domestic flights to reach Vitória. The Federal University of Espírito Santo, where the event will take place, is 5 Km away from the airport.
The city was founded in 1551 and is the third oldest capital of the country. Vitória as well as the other cities of the metropolitan area, have preserved houses, churches, palaces and stairways. In Vila Velha, on the top of a cliff of 154 meters, it is the Convento da Penha, located in mainland and 10 Km away from Vitória. Built in 1558, is today one of the main religious monuments of the state and one of the most important symbols of Espírito Santo.
The diversity of Espírito Santo begins by its own history written by Indians, Portuguese, Africans, Italian and German. These people left their marks in everything: architecture, folklore, customs, crafts, cooking, rhythms, dances and religious festivals.
The capixaba cuisine is one of the most delicious in Brazil. From Portuguese came the traditional Mediterranean food. From the Italian and German immigrants came polenta, pasta and cheese. From the Indians and Africans came our most famous delicacies like the traditional pie and the desired moqueca capixaba.

On Espírito Santo you can enjoy a morning beach and in less than an hour, you can be in cities with mountain climate, with temperatures ranging from 18ºC to 29ºC. Espírito Santo has a variety of landscapes, cultures, traditions and flavors, with nature trails, research and study centers, natural reserves and parks.
