The poster video is recommended for those who freely wish to leave beyond your text an informational product that is didactic and strengthen the concept of Open Educational Resource (OER). In addition, it is expected to use it as a dissemination strategy of the research groups to publicize science and attract new researchers. The same should take account of research and innovative actions.

The proposal is that the poster video will consolidate research while an OER in line with the principles expressed by the International Commission on Education for the UNESCO Twenty-first Century (2004), taking into account four fundamental pillars of education which are defined as follows :

  1. Learning to know. Obtain, understand and systematize the information received from various sources and various medium, to convert it into permanent knowledge;
  2. Learning to do. Implement and properly operate the theoretical knowledge in a practical way;
  3. Learning to live in a society. Establish and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships with the community, without discrimination or exclusion of some sort, which represents the success in society; and
  4. Learning to be. Living and coexisting based on a moral and personal ethics at all times and under any situation (ANUIES, 2006, p. 4).

Diversification strategies to maximize visibility, access and scientific impact of scientific research has been recommended since 2002 in international guidelines for education as: Declaration of Budapest (2002) - Budapest Open Access Initiative (Boai), Bethesda (06/2003): Bethesda Statement on Open access Publishing, Berlín (10/2003): Berlin Declaration on Open access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities and the International Guidelines that recommend the universities to provide the results of research with quality control by increasing access (Asociación Universitaria europea (USA) - 2008 - Recommendations from the US Working Group on Open Access).
